The top four largest ships in the world as of 2015 are part of the Royal Caribbean fleet. The nearly identical ships Allure of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas are 1,187 feet in length and weigh 225,282 tons. Both ships feature the only inward-facing balcony cabins in the world, which look down onto the central activity area, and two-story Royal Loft Suites with 1,559 of space.
Quantum of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas are slightly smaller, at 1,141 feet in length and 168,666 tons. However, these newer ships feature a variety of innovative concepts and amenities that no other ship has, including the North Star capsule that takes passengers 300 feet above sea level for panoramic views. The other features include indoor skydiving, a robot-operated Bionic Bar and SeaPlex, the largest indoor activity space at sea.
The Norwegian Epic is the fifth largest ship in the world, as of 2015, at 1,1081 feet in length and 155,873 tons. The Norwegian Epic stands out for its Aqua Park with the largest bowl slide at sea.
