The Rotunda/Throne Tour is ½ mile long and takes about 1 ½ hours to complete. It follows the original discoverer's trail, past bat guano deposits that are 45,000 years old, stalagmites and stalactites, and Arizona's largest column formation, known as Kubla Khan.

The Big Room Tour is also ½ mile long and takes 1 ¾ hours to complete. It's a seasonal tour, running from mid-October to mid-April, and it goes deeper into the cavern to discover fossils and living cave creatures. Guides tell the story of the cave's discovery and give an overview of scientific research projects. Children under 7 years old are not allowed on this tour.

The Saturday Helmet and Headlamp Tours is ½ mile long and takes 1 ¼ hours. The tour either enters the Rotunda/Throne Room or the Big Room. This tour only uses helmet lights to explore the caverns. The tour mimics the discovery of the cave in 1974. Children 10 years old and above are welcome.
