Japan is famous for its advances in technology, geographic and historic landmarks, and number of writers and artists. The country is located in East Asia and has a population of more than 127 million people.
Some of the famous Japanese landmarks include the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, the Nikkō National Park and the Tokyo Imperial Palace. Famous Japanese include writer Haruki Murakami, artist Yoko Ono, fashion designer Issey Miyake and Emperor Akihito. Japan is also known for its remarkable advances in technology, which include pioneering work in the automotive industry and in the creation of robotics.
