The Attmore-Oliver House, located at 513 Broad Street, is the headquarters of the New Bern Historical Society. It displays furniture from the 18th and 19th centuries and New Bern historical projects such as relics from the Civil War.
The North Carolina History Center, at 529 South Front Street, includes history navigator tours using portable interactive devices, many interactive historical activities, the Pepsi Family Center and the Regional History Museum. It also includes the Museum Store, the Cullman Performance Hall, the Duffy Exhibit Gallery and Lawson’s Landing: A Riverwalk Cafe.
The birthplace of Pepsi, located at 256 Middle Street, is where Caleb Bradham invented Brad's Drink, later patented as Pepsi-Cola, in his pharmacy. Visitors can drink Pepsi-Cola from the recreated fountain.Learn more about Geography
