Users can find information on trains between two stations in India at IndianRail.gov.in. On the left side of the home page, click on Train Berth Availability option to open the Web page. Enter the source and destination stations, coach type and date of journey, and click Get Details. Select from the list of available trains, and click on the corresponding options to get the schedule, full fare and seat availability.
To find trains between major stations, click on Reserved Train Between Important Stations at the top of the home page. From the new Web page, select the source and destination stations from the drop-down list. To get information on all coach types, select All Class from the Class option, and click Get Details. On the train list page, select the quota type to get the corresponding fare and availability details. The General quota is the standard and selected by default.
As of 2015, some running trains daily between New Delhi and Mumbai are Punjab Mail, Rajdhani Express, Golden Temple Mail and Paschim Express. The Rajdhani Express superfast trains run between the capital New Delhi and major big cities in India, and consist completely of air-conditioned coaches. The general mail and express trains feature limited air-conditioned coaches as well as non-air-conditioned coaches such as sleeper and second class seating.
