The Frontier Airlines website contains standard flight information for travelers, such as information on how to find a flight and the flight status. To book a flight from the site, travelers must indicate whether one or more passengers will be traveling, whether any lap infants, defined as those up to age 2, will be traveling and whether any children will be traveling alone. Travelers must select an outbound date and an inbound date, a departure location and a destination, and lastly, they must indicate if the trip will be round trip or one way.
The site, which won the Smarter Travel Editors' Choice Awards 2010: Best Airline Website, allows for online check-in and searching for flights by dollars or miles. It has a section for general travel information, such as seating options, special needs and airport and terminal information.
The Plan and Book tab on the site has a menu that enables travelers to find a flight, research travel insurance options, peruse car rental options and make a reservation, if necessary, book a hotel, check the fare options and check the route map. The Ways to Save tab includes frequent flier information, information on how to apply for the Frontier MasterCard and online deals, among other money saving options.
