The Tyler Place Family Resort is located in Swanton, just seven miles from the Canadian border. Lodgings are rustic cottages, guesthouses and suites, and the resort is primarily known for outdoor activities like rafting and horseback riding.

The Lodge On Little St Simons Island is on an entirely private island and offers lodge rooms and cottages. Guests can enjoy seven miles of private beach and three meals a day.

Vista Verde Guest Ranch is in the Routt National Forest, a drive of about half an hour from Steamboat Springs. There are lodge rooms as well as log cabins. The cabins are equipped with private decks and hot tubs.
