Many hotels in Las Vegas now offer day passes for their buffets. Caesars Entertainment group goes a step further by offering a 24-hour pass. Passes are purchased at the Total Rewards desks in each participating casino. The average price for a pass is $50 for weekdays and $70 for weekends, as of 2015. Alcoholic drinks are not included in the price of the pass.
In order to enter the buffets, Total Rewards members simply show their Total Rewards card and photo identification. However, nonmembers are given a wristband or identifying card. Although these passes provide the opportunity to try a wide variety of food, there are limitations. For example, at certain eateries such as the Bacchanal buffet at Caesars Palace, there is an additional charge. Likewise, at the Village Seafood Buffet at the Rio All-Suites Resort and Casino, there is also an additional fee. It is important to decide where to eat and do the math first to see if purchasing a pass is worth the price.Learn more about Geography
