Harrisburg International Airport is located along the Susquehanna River in Lower Swatara Township, Pennsylvania, about a 10-mile drive southeast of downtown Harrisburg. The airport's mailing address is 1 Terminal Drive, Middletown, PA 17057.
In addition to driving, travelers can access the airport by Capital Area Transit System city buses, by taxi, or via shuttle buses operated by numerous hotels. The airport completed a 360,000-square-foot terminal in 2004 and is the third-busiest in Pennsylvania, behind Philadelphia International Airport and Pittsburgh International Airport. As of September 2015, five airlines operate out of Harrisburg International Airport and provide nonstop service to 10 destinations.
