Google does not offer live views of houses. While the Google team regularly updates its photos, most imagery offered through Street View and Google Earth is several months to several years old.
Google claims that Street View photos may be as recent as a few months old. Google regularly refreshes Street View content by adding images captured through recording devices employed on cars and worn by trekkers, or stitches together images uploaded by the public community. Street View is Google's scrollable 3-D program that lets users explore areas online as if they were walking through them.
Most of the aerial satellite imagery on Google Earth is between one and three years old. Google updates its satellite imagery twice a month and highlights progress on its blog, but these updates only cover certain areas of the world.
