Los Angeles airport (LAX) has its own shuttle service called FlyAway. They stop at each of the terminals and select destinations in the surrounding area.
FlyAway buses operate seven days a week, with regularly scheduled round trips between LAX terminals and Van Nuys, Union Station, Westwood, Santa Monica and Hollywood. Each journey is non-stop and no reservations are required to use the service.
Alternatives are SuperShuttle LAX and Roadrunner. SuperShuttle LAX does home, office and hotel pick up and transport to the airport terminals. With SuperShuttle, passengers may be sharing the ride with others going in the same direction. Roadrunner specializes in private shuttle services and provides a uniformed, professional service at lower costs than taxis. Both of these services need to be booked in advance.
