Some good scenic train rides in Pennsylvania include the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway that follows a 16-mile round-trip along the Lehigh river and into the Lehigh George State Park and the Tioga Central Railroad that travels to Lake Hammond. The Stourbridge Line runs seasonal trips along the Lackawaxen River Valley.
The Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway runs from May through December. The trip normally lasts for 70 minutes but reduces to 45 minutes October due to the increased demand from visitors wishing to view fall foliage. The Tioga Central Railroad offers a number of trips including the 1.5-hour Lake Shore Express and the two-hour Sunset Dinner. The Stourbridge Line travels along 25 miles of railroad through Northeastern Pennsylvania.
