The Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium allows visitors to experience marine life and a working marine laboratory firsthand, including the opportunity to touch some of the creatures. Some of the marine animals and fish housed in the aquarium include manatees and sea turtles. Sharks are also kept in the aquarium, within a 135,000-gallon habitat. Tickets are available online or at the door, with admission including the aquarium, the Ann and Alfred E. Goldstein Marine Mammal Research and Rehabilitation Center and the Immersion Cinema.
