Wisconsin boasts such fun activities as going on hot air balloon rides, hiking along 2,500 miles of trails, visiting state and national parks and enjoying water activities. Visitors can also experience art and culture at the Andrew Warren Historic District and Alexander Noble House Museum.
Tourists can choose from a variety of fun outdoor activities, such as hiking at Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, located on the banks of Lake Superior. Hikers can travel over 50 miles of trails and view hundreds of species of birds that pass through this area annually. Historic landmarks also dot the trails, ranging from eight historic towers and multiple lighthouses to old logging camps and historic farms. This location also offers plenty of water activities and 21 islands that tourists can visit by kayaking or boating.
Although there are dozens of parks from which to choose, Wisconsin also boasts many fun artistic and cultural activities, such as exploring Native American culture at the Forest County Potawatomi Museum and Cultural Center and the ancient Indian Burial Grounds of Hudson. The Aztalan Museum exhibits artifacts from the Aztalan culture as well as Civil War relics and pioneer tools. Tourists can browse many art galleries and museums that feature a variety of oddities, such as the Mustard Museum and the Circus Museum.
