The Great American Ball Park, home of the Cincinnati Reds, features baseball games from April through September each year. The park additionally hosts concerts, baseball and softball youth camps, and it houses the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and Museum.
The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, which is a member of the Association of Zoos & Amphibians, features animals such as gorillas, bears, large cats and bats, as well as spiders, scorpions, raptors and parrots. The botanical garden includes annuals, native plants, trees of merit and exhibits. The zoo also features activities for children such as animal shows and a petting zoo.
The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center features permanent exhibits such as "Brothers of the Borderland," "From Slavery to Freedom," "And Still We Rise: Race, Culture, and Visual Conversations," and "Suite for Freedom."
