The 21,000-acre Smith Lake offers several fun outdoor water activities. Tourists can rent paddle boards and tour the lake by water. The lake also features a boat launch for those who'd rather take to the water by boat. The pier provides plenty of fishing space.
The 150-acre park surrounding Smith Lake offers land activities such as nearly four miles of hiking and biking trails. Tourists can camp along the 500 miles of shoreline or opt to stay in one of the park's cabins. There are nearly 200 full-service RV sites with electric and water hookups as well as tent camping sites with electric hookups. Campers can camp year round at the lake.
The park provides a swimming pool and playgrounds for children, pavilions for picnic lunches and a ball field. Families can take a break from water fun and spend an afternoon at the 18-hole miniature golf course.
