Legoland Discovery Center, Sea Life Grapevine Aquarium, Nash Farm, and the Grapevine Historic Main Street District are a few of the fun attractions in Grapevine, Texas. The city's proximity to Grapevine Lake throws boat rides and other water activities into the mix.
Legoland Discovery Center is located at Grapevine Mills mall and boasts over 2 million Lego bricks as well as exciting Lego-themed rides, such as Merlin’s Apprentice, LEGO CITY: Forest Ranger Pursuit, Kingdom’s Quest Ride, and Star Wars: Episode IV MINILAND. The center is open daily.
The 45,000-square-foot, two-story Sea Life Grapevine Aquarium is also located within Grapevine Mills mall. The aquarium includes over 30 displays featuring 5,000 animals, including jellyfish, seahorses, sea turtles sharks and other salt- and freshwater organisms.
President Thomas Jefferson bought Nash Farm back in 1859, and built the farmhouse on the property in 1869. Today, the farm showcases the history of the region through exhibits and programs. The farm is open to both guided tours and individual exploration.
Grapevine's Historic Main Street District has several shops and restaurants to engage city visitors and residents. Special events also take place here, including the annual GrapeFest, which features Texas wine sampling, live music, craft brews and dinners.
