Some fun things to do in Cleveland include visiting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame or Cedar Point Amusement Park, going to a Cavaliers game at Quicken Loans Arena, and touring the house from "A Christmas Story." The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame features more than 50 exhibits, including Janice Joplin's psychedelic Porsche, Michael Jackson's sparkly glove and many famous historical instruments.
Going to see the Cavaliers play at Quicken Loans Arena, nicknamed "The Q," can be an exciting experience, highlighted by seeing one of basketball's greatest players, Lebron James, take the floor for the home team. "The Q" is home to the largest HD arena scoreboard in the country, as of 2015. The arena seats 20,500 people, and roughly 1.5 million guests visit on an annual basis.
The "A Christmas Story" house is the actual house used for filming the 1983 holiday classic, located at 3159 W. 11th St. In 2006, the house was opened to the public for touring, allowing visitors to re-live some of their favorite moments from the film, such as holding the Red Ryder BB Gun. Across the street from the house itself, there is a museum featuring original photos, props and costumes, as well as a gift shop.
