Full Answer

JetBlue has different tiers of flights, allowing for different reward levels. For example, booking a Blue fare adds three points per dollar to the original three points earned per dollar, while a Blue Plus fare earns an extra four points per dollar, a Blue Flex fare earns an additional five points per dollar and a Mint fair earns an extra six points per dollar.

An additional 300 points is added for paid JetPaws fees, and an additional 100 points is added for purchasing an Even More Space seat.

Every dollar spent on JetBlue Getaway vacation packages earns six points. The points are applied to purchases of flights, hotels, cars and activities purchased at the time of booking.

JetBlue also offers various ways to incur bonus points in its TrueBlue frequent flyer membership program. For example, in 2015, members who purchased and flew three round trips within the year earned an additional 5,000 points.

The number of points needed to book a fare using points is dependent on the published base fare at the time of booking.
