The Crystal Harmony was the first ship christened by the luxury cruise line Crystal Cruises, but it was retired from service in 2005 after the company launched its new ships. The Serenity has several Alaskan cruises that start from either Tokyo, Japan; Vancouver, British Columbia; or Anchorage, Alaska. Asian cruises are available from Bali and Singapore, while Australia and New Zealand itineraries begin in Sydney, Australia. Caribbean cruises can be boarded in Miami and New York, and Mediterranean cruises sail from Malta and Monaco. Travelers who want a transatlantic cruise can take one from Monte Carlo, Monaco; Marseille, France; or Lisbon, Portugal. The Serenity also has a lengthy world cruise itinerary that starts in San Francisco, California and circles the Pacific Ocean with many ports of call including Hawaii, Australia, Vietnam, China and Japan.
The Symphony offers several similar cruises, but it also has many of its own cruise routes, including African cruises from Cape Town, South Africa and Antarctica cruises from Buenos Aires, Argentina. It also has several Baltic Sea trips that start from Lisbon, Dover, England and Copenhagen, Denmark.
