Southwest is a low-cost airline that was founded in 1967. Although most airlines use a hub and spoke travel system, Southwest uses a point-to-point system. The airline's top served cities are Chicago, Las Vegas, Baltimore, Dallas and Phoenix. Its fleet consists exclusively of Boeing 737s, and it's the world's largest operator of that aircraft.
The airline offers various amenities, including television, Wi-Fi, snacks and beverages. Flights include several free, live television channels and on-demand episodes of popular programs. Certain Wi-Fi activities are free, and full access is available for a fee. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary, and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.
