As of 2015, Fly Jamaica serves four non-stop flight destinations, which are Georgetown in Guyana, Kingston in Jamaica, New York in the U.S.A. and Toronto in Canada. Fly Jamaica is based in Guyana and is the first privately owned airline in the Caribbean.
One type of aircraft in the Fly Jamaica fleet is a Boeing 767 that has a seating capacity of 240 passengers. This aircraft services the Georgetown to Toronto and the Georgetown to New York flight routes.
Passengers flying with Fly Jamaica receive complimentary luggage allowances of two free pieces of checked baggage for both economy and business class seats. Each passenger is also allowed one free complimentary piece of cabin baggage, in addition to a smaller bag, such as a camera case, briefcase or diaper bag.
Passengers in economy class are allowed to bring a total of 101 pounds of checked baggage when flying between destinations in the U.S. and the Caribbean. Business class passengers are allowed a total of 141 pounds of checked baggage. Both passenger classes are prohibited from checking in luggage that exceeds maximum height, weight and length dimensions of about 62 inches. Fly Jamaica charges additional flees for special baggage categories, such as scuba diving equipment, bowling equipment and bicycles.
