As of spring 2015, the destinations of Spirit Airlines included more than 50 cities in North America, the Caribbean, Central America and South America. Its busiest hub cities include Los Angeles, California; Chicago, Illinois; and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
In the United States, Florida is Spirit Airlines' most thoroughly served state, with routes reaching West Palm Beach, Tampa, Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando. The Great Lakes region and the Northeast are also dense with Spirit Airlines destinations, with routes to such cities as Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, New York, Atlantic City and Philadelphia. More remotely, the Pacific Northwest and Lower Midwest are not covered as thoroughly; Portland, Oregon; Denver, Colorado; and Kansas City, Missouri, are the only destinations Spirit Airlines reaches in these regions.
Outside of the United States, Spirit Airlines has the most thorough coverage of the Caribbean, with destinations including San Salvador in the Bahamas; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Port-au-Prince, Haiti; Kingston and Montego Bay in Jamaica and Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. Lima, Peru, is the farthest south that Spirit Airlines flies; among its other notable destinations south of the Caribbean are Bogotá, Cartagena; Armenia and Medellín in Colombia; Panama City, Panama, and San José, Costa Rica.
