Delta Comfort + seats have up to 4 inches of additional legroom over main cabin seats and up to 50 percent further reclining range on most of the airline's long-haul international flights, as of 2015. Delta changed the name of its Economy Comfort class to Delta Comfort + in 2014.
Travelers who purchase Delta Comfort + seats receive full Medallion benefits and are able to make same-day travel changes, although fees may apply. The traveler selects his seat during the purchase process. A Delta Comfort + seat provides access to Sky Priority boarding, premium in-flight entertainment, dedicated overhead bin space, complimentary meals and complimentary beverages, such as beer, wine or spirits. Certain services aren't available on all flights.
Other ticket classes available on Delta include Basic Economy, Main Cabin, First Class and Delta One. Available classes vary depending on the flight.
To book a Delta Comfort + seat, go through the booking process and click Select Seat. Choose a Delta Comfort + seat and complete the purchase. To upgrade a seat that is already purchased, log in at Delta.com and click My Trips. Choose the trip to upgrade and click Change Seats. Select a Delta Comfort + seat, and pay for the upgrade.
