The Veendam cruise ship has five decks dedicated to accommodations, two decks containing theaters, restaurants and public areas, and two decks containing dining areas, bars, fitness and sports areas. There is also a small observation deck.

Decks seven and eight contain several theaters, bars, dining areas and shops. Deck seven also contains the front office and a shore excursions information and booking area. Deck 11 contains the spa and beauty salon, fitness center and pool as well as a restaurant and grill. Deck 12 has tennis and basketball courts. Deck 13 is a small observation deck at the bow of the ship.
