Every person entering Canada, whether visiting or returning home, needs to complete a Canada Border Services Agency Declaration Card before they arrive. CBSA-ASFC.ca has a copy of the Card that is normally distributed to travelers for completion while on board an aircraft or other form of transport.
The Declaration Card, which holds details of up to four people living at the same address, requires information about currency and goods such as weapons, food stuffs and animals that visitors are bringing into the country. It also asks travelers to declare whether they have visited a farm during their travels and intend to visit a farm in Canada. The removable strip contains information about visitors' duty-free allowances and residents' exemptions.
