The location of the countries in the Middle East on a map of the region include Turkey to the northwest and Yemen and Oman on the south end of the Arabian Peninsula. Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Pakistan are on the east abutting China and India.
Turkey is the most northwestern country on a map of the Middle East, just south of Greece and west of Georgia and Armenia. South of Turkey lies Syria, Lebanon, Israel and Palestine, located on the Mediterranean Sea, with Palestine bordering on Sinai and Africa. To the immediate east of Palestine is Jordan and then Iraq.
Saudi Arabia makes up the bulk of the Arabian Peninsula, ranging from the Red Sea to the Persian Gulf. Yemen and Oman lie on the south of the Arabian Peninsula bordering the Arabian Sea, with Yemen bordering the Red Sea and Oman bordering the Persian Gulf. To the northwest of Oman lies the United Arab Emirates, which has a border with the Persian Gulf to the north and Qatar to the west. Also on the west coast of the Persian gulf lies the small countries of Bahrain and Kuwait. Kuwait borders Saudi Arabia to the south and Irag to the northwest.
Iran lies to the east of Iraq with Pakistan, Afghanistan and Turkmenistan on Iran's eastern border and the Caspian Sea to the north. North of Turkmenistan is Uzbekistan, with Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan to Uzbekistan's east.
