On Which Continent Is Canada?

Canada is on the continent of North America. It is located in the northernmost part of North America and shares a border to the south with the United States. Covering 3.8 million square miles, Canada is the second-largest country in the world after Russia.
It has the longest coastline in the world, as it touches the oceans: the Atlantic, the Pacific and the Arctic. It is made up of 10 provinces and three territories. The capital city is Ottawa, and other major cities include Toronto, Montreal and Quebec. The national symbol of Canada is the maple leaf, which is featured on the flag.
