What Is the Capital of Siberia?

Siberia does not have its own capital. It is part of Russia, and Russia's capital is Moscow. Before the conquest of Siberia by Russia, Kashlyk was its capital.

Some people have suggested moving Russia's capital to Siberia, but as of January 2015, there has been no such initiative. Siberia contributes more than 90 percent of Russia's natural wealth in the form of gold, diamonds, gas, coal and oil.

Apart from being Russia's most populous and biggest city, Moscow has the world's largest number of billionaires, according to a Forbes 2013 report.

Moscow's architecture is world-famous. Saint Basil's Cathedral and the Seven Sisters are some examples of the city's well-known architectural structures.
