A seat map of the Airbus A330 is provided by Airbus, which manufactures the A330, on its website. In addition to a seat map, Airbus provides drawings and dimensions of the seats in each cabin class.
The seat layout of the Airbus 330 family of planes provides seating for up to 246 passengers, though Airbus has announced that 330 models intended for long international flights are being re-designed to accommodate up to 400 passengers. The Airbus A330 is divided into first/business and economy class sections. The first class cabin is suited with four 27-inch seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, with each single seat positioned next to a window and the pair of seats in the center of the cabin with an aisle on either side. Business class, which is an extension of the first class cabin, features six 22-inch wide seats in a 2-2-2 configuration.
There are three different configurations for economy class seats on the A330. The most efficient features seats that are 16.7 inches wide that are laid out in a 3-3-3 configuration. The eight seat wide configuration features 18-inch seats with two seats on both sides of the cabin and a row of four seats in the middle with an aisle on either side. The roomiest economy cabin layout features 20-inch seats aligned two on either side of the cabin and a row of three with an aisle on either side.
