Customers have multiple options for buying Greyhound bus tickets, including online, at the terminal or through a Greyhound agency, according to Greyhound. Tickets purchased online may be printed out and those purchased over the phone may be picked up at the counter in the bus station.
One option is to buy a ticket online. Go to Greyhound's website and fill in the fare information in the form on the homepage. Click on Search Schedules. Select the desired departure time and arrival times, for a round-trip ticket, and pay and print out the tickets.
Travelers can also buy tickets over the phone. Call 1-800-231-2222 to purchase a ticket over the phone as of 2015. Customers must pay with a debit or credit card when buying over the phone.
Some people prefer to buy tickets from a terminal. Go in-person to the nearest Greyhound station and purchase tickets at the window. Customers may also find a self-serve kiosk at the station where they can buy tickets instead of the window.
Lastly, buy tickets from an agent. Look for a local agency that sells tickets for the next available bus. Go to Greyhound's website and click Tickets and Travel Info. Scroll down to Buy Tickets at an Agency and click on the "agents" link to search for a nearby agency.
