Delta boarding passes may be printed using the airline's Online Check-In system within 24 hours of a flight's scheduled departure. Once on the check-in webpage, the passenger accesses the itinerary using the ticket or confirmation number, or a SkyMiles or credit card number
The passenger may select, view or change seats, put in any upgrade notes and pay excess baggage charges if needed. Then, the boarding pass is ready for printing. The passenger may print the boarding pass as soon as the information is updated or save the information to print or re-print later. Once at the airport, the passenger goes to the "Baggage Drop" area to check in baggage, eliminating the need to stop at the airline service desk.
