There are guided tours known as BridgeClimb that allow people to climb to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge in a safe, controlled environment. More than 3 million people have climbed the iconic, 463 foot tall bridge.
The process of climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge includes ascending ladders and stairs in addition to walking across catwalks and other narrow pathways. Once climbers reach the top of the bridge, they get a wide view of the city of Sydney and the harbor. Climbs take place at different times of the day, allowing climbers to choose between day or nighttime views from the top of the bridge.
