MapsOfWorld.com, WorldAtlas.com and NationalGeographic.com all publish detailed maps of both Russia and the Ukraine that include cities, geographic features, roads and travel information. The BBC.com and NYTimes.com have extensive maps of both countries detailing the conflict between them and showing its impacts.
Many of the maps show disputed areas that were part of the Ukraine but have recently been annexed by Russia or taken over by separatist movements allied with Moscow such as Crimea and areas of Luhansk and Donetsk. The borders defining the two countries remain fluid and under significant international disagreement, as of 2015. Current cease-fire agreements have forced a stalemate without the formal creation of new maps of the countries.
