The Carnival Cruise website lists all of the ships, with information as to size, deck layout, amenities and ports of call. Up to three ships may be compared at once. As of April, 2015, Carnival lists 24 ships, including its newest, the Carnival Vista.
To look at an individual ship, click on the picture or the ship name. The next screen brings up a general description of the ship, destination and port information, and trip durations. Scrolling down leads to detailed deck plans, information about staterooms, and descriptions of dining venues and available activities.
To do a ship comparison, click on the compare icon to the right of the ship name and then click on the "Compare Ship" button on the top right. This brings up side-by-side ship details comparing size and passenger and crew capacity. Drop down boxes offer comparisons for items such as dining, activities, bars, casinos and entertainment. At the end of the page, the cruise destinations, departure ports and trip durations for each ship are listed.
The banner across the top allows the user to change the ships being compared. Cancelling out a ship leads back to the main ship list. Picking a new ship leads back to the comparison page.
