From the latest California Vehicle Code Table of Contents, click on Vehicle Code Appendix B

(List of Violations of the Vehicle Code) to view the different categories of violations. Click on each category to view the table of violations and their respective codes. Violations are further categorised by type, using the code C for Civil, F for Felony, I for Infraction or M for Misdemeanor.

The lists of codes are all available for viewing, downloading and printing as PDF files. You may also purchase your own copy of "The California Vehicle Code" at any field office of the Department of Motor Vehicles or by visiting the website dmv.ca.gov, clicking on Publications and scrolling down to the section headed California Law. Open the link headed California Vehicle Code Book Order Form (ADM 1B) to find a further link to a PDF order form. You need Adobe Acrobat Reader or another similar program on your computer to open, complete and print the form.
