The Maryland city buses are not only tracked with GPS, but there is an app people can download onto their smartphone called MyBusTracker. It allows bus riders to know exactly where their bus is and when it is expected to arrive. It provides excellent accuracy within about a minute of arrival at their bus stop.

There are 250 school bus routes in Westchester County being tracked, going from Yonkers to Peekskill. This not only includes buses during the school year, but school buses used during summer vacation for private camps in the county. It also includes special needs children traveling through Westchester county.
