What Buses Go to Atlantic City?

Greyhound has a station at the Atlantic City Bus Terminal on Atlantic Avenue, and the city is also served by Megabus and several other commercial carriers. A number of casinos also have shuttle buses that run to and from New York.

The Greyhound terminal in Atlantic City has direct connections to most of the major nearby northeastern cities such as New York City, Philadelphia and Baltimore. It also operates the special Lucky Streak service, which takes passengers directly to casinos from New York City, Washington, Philadelphia and Baltimore. Megabus offers similar service to Atlantic City from these nearby cities. Some of the other private carrier options include Academy Bus and Hampton Luxury Liner.

New Jersey Transit also offers service from Philadelphia to Atlantic City by way of its 551 bus route. This bus runs seven days a week and makes stops in Camden, Sicklerville and Hammonton while traveling between the two cities.

Some of the casinos in Atlantic City also have arrangements with smaller private carriers to provide direct service to and from the nearby cities. It is best to check with each casino to see who its current partners are. Some offer perks such as free play or a food voucher along with the fare.
