Full Answer

To use the bus route planner, navigate to the Buses page and then enter in the search box the bus route which you are interested in finding, and then click Go. The same search box may be used for bus arrival and status information, together with bus timetables.

Once you've entered your destination in the search box, the next page provides the various transport methods to get where you want to go, including bus. Click on Bus, and the next page shows the bus numbers to board to get to your destination.

The Mayor of London website also provides a Plan a Journey page on which you can enter your starting point, destination and when you would like to travel. After clicking Plan My Journey, you are presented with various travel options to get to your destination. The website also lets you save your recent trips, so that you do not have to replan a trip that you may take again in the future.
