As of 2015, customers can book flights on Lion Air through either the airline's website, third-party travel and ticket booking websites, or through the official Lion Air application on smartphones. Prospective Lion Air fliers can use the Search For Flights form provided on LionAir.co.id, Traveloka.com, Nusatrip.com or Utiket.com to search for flights on the airline. The form requires customers to input their intended travelling dates as well as their cities of departure and origin.
Additionally, flight search forms include the option to indicate whether or not a return flight is needed and if the customer's flight dates are flexible. Once a customer executes a search, the form moves to a flight selection form if any flight is available. When the customer chooses a compatible Lion Air flight, he can proceed to book and confirm his ticket. Alternatively, Lion Air customers can book flights through the airline's mobile application by going through similar steps to online bookings. The Lion Air application also allows customers to save their preferences in terms of passenger details and regular destinations.
As of 2015, Lion Air is a privately operated Indonesian airline that operates flights to 79 destinations in Indonesia and around the world, including Singapore, Saudi Arabia and Vietnam.
