The Bering Strait is located in between the United States and Russia. More specifically, it is in the Bering Sea, just south of the Arctic Circle.
The Bering Strait runs from the Asian continent at its easternmost point to the North American continent at its westernmost point. The strait is 58 miles long. Inside the strait is the official boundary between Russia and the United States. At this point, there are two islands called Big Diomede and Little Diomede, both located in the middle of the Bering Strait. The waters of the Bering Strait measure up to 165 feet deep.
