Ben T. Davis Beach is one of the first beaches that can be spotted when entering Tampa via Tampa International Airport. It stretches along the Courtney Campbell Causeway that connects Tampa with Clearwater. The beach offers visitors a number of amenities, including picnic shelters, grills, volleyball, concession stands and access to restrooms. A lifeguard is always on duty between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Davis Islands Beach, located near downtown Tampa, isn't the best spot for swimming because a large number of boats are usually anchored along the beach as the beach is adjacent to the Davis Island Yacht Club and the Davis Island Seaplane Basin. There is a small beach area that provides an off-leash area for dogs, a picnic area, a canoe launch and boat ramps.

Picnic Island is located in Port Tampa, and it stretches across 7.8 acres of land. Visitors can enjoy the playground located on the beach, canoeing, exploring Picnic Island Bayou and fishing from the pier. The beach also offers 24-hour boat ramp access.
