There are 12 roller coasters at Six Flags Over Georgia. The oldest existing roller coaster is the Dahlonega Mine Train in the Peachtree Square Section of the park. It has been at the park since its opening in 1967. There is a freefall attraction and a 20-story dropping tower. Along with numerous thrill rides, the park also has bumper cars, a carousel, a treehouse and rides with small planes, boats and trains for younger children. During warmer months, Hurricane Harbor, a water park area of the park, is open to visitors.
There are a few different stages throughout the park that offer live performances that change, depending on the season. There are also strolling entertainers and opportunities to interact with costumed characters.
Six Flags Over Georgia has food options for every taste and eateries are located throughout the park. There are hamburgers, fries, chicken or pizza, as well as salads and dessert options such as funnel cakes and ice cream.
