Alaska Air allows passengers to check in online from the main page of the company's website. Passengers can also print their boarding passes from the website. A passenger can check in between 24 hours and an hour before her flight's scheduled departure time.
The passenger must enter her departure city and choose a way to look up her reservation to begin the check-in process. Ways to look up a passenger reservation include confirmation code, e-ticket number or mileage plan number. The system does not allow passengers to check in with only a last name. From the Alaska Air website, a passenger can check on the flight status of her flights and manage an active reservation.
