Airports in Puerto Rico include Luis Munoz Marin International, Rafael Hernandez Airport, Eugenio M. De Hostos Airport, Mercedita Airport and Antonio Rivera Rodriquez Airport. Private airports with no scheduled flights include Adjuntas, home of the Adjuntas Aero Club, and Benjamin Rivera Noriega on the offshore island of Culebra.
The Luis Munoz Marin International Airport is located just outside of San Juan, on the northern end of the island. It has five full-service terminals, and is served by major carriers including Delta, American, Air Canada, Southwest and United. Regional airlines include Avianca and Copa Airlines. This airport is also located near the cruise ship terminal.
The Rafael Hernandez Airport, sometimes called the Aguadilla Airport, is on the western tip of Puerto Rico and serves flights from the United States mainland, the Caribbean and South America. As of March 2015, JetBlue and Spirit Airlines are the major carriers. The Eugenio M. De Hostos Airport offers feeder service to and from Luis Munoz Marin International on Cape Air and United.
Mercedita Airport is in Ponce, on the southern end of the island. It provides service to the U.S. Mainland, primarily on JetBlue and Etihad Airways. The Antonio Rivera Rodriquez Airport is on the island of Vieques and provides service from airports on Puerto Rico's main island. Airlines include Cape Air, Air Sunshine, MN Aviation and Vieques Air Link.
