Naples Municipal Airport has flights on several charter carriers, including Exec Air, Naples Air Inc., Salt Island Seaplanes, Gulf Coast Airways and the Naples Jet Center, as of 2016. No scheduled service on regular commercial carriers is offered. Exec Air, flying small single engine aircraft from Miami to Naples, offers scheduled round-trip service but is primarily a charter.
Naples Air Inc. is based in Naples and offers charter and air ambulance service. Salt Island Seaplanes specializes in service to Key West and can operate on land or water. Gulf Coast Airways' main office is in Naples, with a branch in Ft. Lauderdale. Destinations include Key West, Marathon, Orlando and the Bahamian Islands. Naples Jet Center specializes in high-end VIP charters, mostly using small jets or turbo props.
Rental car companies such as Avis, Hertz, National, Alamo and Dollar are available at the Naples Airport commercial terminal, with additional outlets in the general aviation terminal. A U.S. Customs office is on site.
As an alternative, visitors to Naples may fly into Southwest Florida International Airport, roughly 30 miles north of Naples Municipal Airport. Passengers have their choice of commercial airlines, such as American, Delta, Frontier, United or WestJet. Rental car options include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar and Hertz.
