Many Wisconsin pumpkin farms offer hay rides, corn mazes and petting zoos, as well as the opportunity to select a pumpkin, whether for carving or for use in a pie. Several pumpkin farms also offer playgrounds, country markets and novelty attractions, such as gunny sack slides and pumpkin catapults.
Wisconsin pumpkin farms often offer other fall produce, such as apples, peas, pears and peaches. Several have banquet or restaurant facilities and offer on-site dinner theater or puppet shows for additional entertainment. At one farm, which includes the Apple Holler Restaurant and Playhouse, visitors can pan for gemstones.
Many Wisconsin pumpkin farms have been family owned and operated for generations.
