The Ko Olina Golf Club features a championship rated 18-hole course that regularly achieves top ratings in various magazines and newspapers, local and worldwide. The course is challenging but a favorite of beginners because of its location and layout.
Just south of the Ko Olina Beach Club, the Ko Olina Marina offers sport fishing charters, snorkeling and diving tours and boats for rent for those wanting to explore Oahu's waters on their own. Seasonal whale watching tours are also offered.
The 12 oceanfront acres of Paradise Cove offer a traditional luau experience with audience participation. Guests are encouraged to help pull in the fishing net, don hula outfits and learn the traditional dance. Authentic Hawaiian foods, including kalua pig, poi and haupia pudding, are available, as are more mainland style dishes.
If driving into Honolulu for the day, stop off and visit the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial, part of the World War II Valor in the Pacific National Park. In the downtown core, tours of Iolani Palace, built by King David Kalakaua, are offered. East of downtown are the sands of Waikiki Beach, where beach boys still teach tourists how to surf.Learn more about Geography
