The Little Ocmulgee State Park spans 1,360 acres off Highway 441 near Helena, Georgia. The property includes the 2.6-mile Oak Ridge Trail for hiking and cycling, which curves through sand hills and natives oaks and pines, ending at a boardwalk. The 265-acre lake is open for swimming, fishing and boating, with canoe rentals available to visitors.
The summer months appeal to families with young children, with a popular splash pad featuring fountains and water play areas. A seasonal miniature golf course provides hours of fun, and seven picnic shelters are available for outdoor dining. It is possible to reserve one of two group picnic shelters that seat 50 and 75 people, for family reunions, weddings or celebrations.
In addition to the family miniature golf facility, the parks is host to the full 18-hole Wallace Adams Course, which includes a clubhouse and golf pro. The course is open to the public, and discounts are available for junior and senior players.Learn more about Geography
