Access to the Spirit online check-in is available through the Spirit website (Spirit.com) and requires the last name of the traveler and the confirmation code or record locator. The confirmation code is located in an email for bookings made through a third party or directly through Spirit. The confirmation code is six characters and should be highlighted in the email.
The Spirit online check-in allows travelers to check in and print their boarding passes before departure. The check-in process can be started as early as 24 hours before a flight leaves and up until an hour before the flight time.
During the online check-in process, travelers can add any extras, pay for additional baggage, make seat arrangements and edit information. Options can be managed through the check-in process, such as seat preference, handicap requirements, traveling assistance and food purchases to create a more comfortable and enjoyable trip.
